4" Mugwort Sage

Mugwort was a sacred plant for The Aztecs. 

Mugwort has long been used to induce lucid dreaming, for astral projection, and to enhance psychic powers. It also helps with protection and ward of illness. 

Smudging with the smoke of our mugwort smudge sticks is ideal for cleansing negative energy, attracting positive energy and light when emotionally or spiritually tired or lacking motivation, ridding yourself of other people’s negative emotional energy (stress, anger, envy, anxiety, or bad intentions), and rejuvenation and renewal to start fresh after moving into a new home, after overcoming adversity, after an argument or after illness. You can smudge your home, work place, car, yoga studio, yourself, pets, or loved ones.

Holding the smudge stick by the “handle” end, use a lighter to ignite the tip. Blow out any open flames so that the leaves slowly smolder. Next, wave the smudging wand around a room, person, or objects to direct the fragrant, cleansing smoke. Catch the ashes in a heat-resistant dish. (An abalone shell is traditional, but you can use a smudge pot, incense burner, or even a regular ceramic plate, as long as you put something under it.) Smudge sticks can be extinguished in a dish of sand and re-used many times. Of course, please burn responsibly and never leave burning smudges unattended.
